Gülsah Güngöz van Dijk is nominated for the Community Top 040

Gülsah Güngöz van Dijk, responsible for running Turkish courses for children for years in Eindhoven, has been nominated for the Community Top 040. Individuals such as Gülsah who run heritage language programs are often committed to education and passionate about their work. Community Top 40

There are 40 leaders from Eindhoven who are making a difference and helping the Netherlands on its way to an inclusive future. The Community Top 040 was compiled by an independent editorial team because they believe that the new generation of leaders are making a better world and are courageous in carrying out their mission and vision, each in their own unique and inspiring way.


Top 040 consists of 10 sections: entrepreneurs, game changers, tech, media, sport, culture and creativity, community impact, care, education, business. There are four nominees per section. The number 1 per category will be announced on November 1, 2021, during a festive online launch in CKE Eindhoven by presenters Hajar Fallah and Maddy Janssen. The launch of Community Top 040 can be followed via a livestream.


The motivation to nominate Gülsah

She helps educate organizations and parents with conviction and unwavering passion. Gülsah is committed to activities for and with children with projects such as the World Kids Festival and Co-reading Library. A committed heroine for education who also makes moves on the dance floor.


Gülsah founded Stichting DRIO in 2016. The three O's stand for Ondersteuning, Onderwijs en Opvoeding. In addition to being the founder, she is also the foundation's project coordinator. She earned her bachelor's degree in early childhood education in Turkey, after which she also worked as a teacher there. In addition to her work, Gülsah is also active as MentorMate at the Humanitas association. MentorMate is a source of information and support for students in primary, secondary and vocational education.
