Impressive celebration for an impressive organization
A big congratulations to the Forum of Polish Schools in the Netherlands (FPSN) on 30 years of supporting Polish-speaking children through heritage language education! They celebrated at the start of October with a rich program of events over two days. Students, teachers, activists, and diplomats came together to enjoy speeches and exhibitions, as well as performances by artists such as Tango Extremo and violinist Ewa Pepper.
Awards for the Polish School of Eindhoven
A special moment of the celebration was the presentation of medals from the Polish Commission of National Education to distinguished educators, to recognize their many years of dedicated work teaching Polish as a heritage language. Among the educators recognized were four members of the Polish School of Eindhoven: Anna Kijak, Magdalena Obadowska, Krystyna Żabczyńska, and Wioletta Białecka Klotz. What an incredible and well-deserved achievement!
An inspirational model for other languages
We are extremely proud of both the Forum and the team at the Polish School of Eindhoven. We are grateful for the impressive work being done by all Polish heritage language programs in the Netherlands, which serve as an excellent model for newer and smaller programs. We look forward to continued collaboration with the Forum and the Eindhoven team!
