Message from the head of Kleine Sprachwelt:
Kleine Sprachwelt is very happy to become part of the HLE Network family!
Serving German-speaking families
We are a young initiative in the Groningen area for German speaking families. We started meeting regularly in January 2025 in the Nicolaasschool in Haren (Groningen) in the context of a pilot project. Due to the growing interest in our initiative and our successful start we hope to take the next step in the 2025-2026 school year and establish our own foundation.
Benefits of making connections
HLE Network supported us during the foundational phase of our initiative by generously offering advice and expertise. Thanks to their network, we were able to connect with other German heritage language initiatives across the Netherlands and North America.
Our plan
Our plan is to offer regular educational activities to children from 4-12. We are also working together with local network partners in promoting the German language and educational activities in German for both native and non-native speaking children.
