Education leader Hilbert de Vries joins HLE Network Advisory Council

We are pleased to welcome Hilbert de Vries, board director of Stichting Speciaal Onderwijs en Expertisecentra (SSOE) in Eindhoven, as a member of the HLE Network Advisory Council. With his many years of experience in education and his strong commitment to inclusive education, Hilbert brings valuable knowledge and perspective to our work.

In his role at SSOE, Hilbert has drawn attention to the challenges faced by multilingual children in the Brainport Eindhoven region. He helped initiate research by Utrecht University into the overrepresentation of multilingual children in special education, which has contributed to greater awareness of the need for more inclusive approaches and better support for multilingual families.

Hilbert will support HLE Network by providing strategic guidance and sharing his extensive experience in the education sector. We are proud to work with someone who shares our belief that language diversity should be recognized as a strength and who is committed to creating more inclusive educational opportunities for all children.
