Festive start of the Eindhoven Persian School at new location

September 7, 2025

This month the Eindhoven Persian School shared a fabulous piece of news: after taking time to search for just the right location, they have found a suitable place to give lessons -- in time for the new school year! For at least the next six months, they will hold lessons every Sunday at a new location in Woensel.

The history of the Eindhoven Persian School is one of sincere commitment and determination. They opened their doors for the first time in March of 2020, right when the world was shutting down in the face of the COVID pandemic. Despite this setback, they remained open and turned to online lessons, even when there were only a handful of students. Since then, face-to-face lessons have resumed, and the Persian School has contributed greatly to literary and science projects organized via our network. The organizers of the Eindhoven Persian School now proudly report that they have over twenty students, with many new registrations made possible due to the increased capacity of the new lesson location.

At HLE Network we are thrilled that this program has remained open and is growing. On September 25, the Eindhoven Persian School, together with the other programs in our network, received a box of teaching supplies with things like pens, markers and glue sticks, which they can use during the 2025-2026 school year. We look forward to watching The Eindhoven Persian School continue to flourish and become even more sustainable.

I couldn't wait to share some good news with the network about our Persian school. We finally got a new location for the coming six months, and I hope we can continue to go forward and make the organization self-sustained!

At the Eindhoven Persian School, a recognized curriculum has been purchased, which is tailored to students who speak Persian at home but do not live in a country where it is widely spoken. Lessons are also available for adults who would like to learn Persian as a Second Language.
