Every weekend, more than 1,000 students in the Eindhoven region follow lessons in their heritage language and culture.

Yet, this is something we don't hear much about. Until now.

With Lantern, HLE Network shines a light on this education sector. It is our new annual magazine, created with support from the Municipality of Eindhoven’s Inclusief Samenleven program.

• A Dutch-language side and an English-language side

• A handy network directory of heritage language programs in the region (page 31)

• Mainstream educators curious about what happens outside the class!
