Event description

Each February, UNESCO's International Mother Language Day is celebrated across the world. What do you do to celebrate Mother Language Day? Do you have good ideas to share, or are you looking for ideas?

On Thursday, February 9, at 20:00 Central European Time there will be a free, online meetup ("FOHLC Café") for professionals in heritage language education: Anyone interested in discussing this topic and networking with others in the field of heritage language education is welcome to attend!

Note: This international online FOHLC Café networking event will replace HLE Network's online Meetup that we usually organize each February for HL professionals in the Eindhoven region.

Program

This time, we plan on discussing: what does your HL program/coalition do to celebrate UN MLD? What topics would you like to see discussed at future FOHLC Europe conferences? What ideas from the 2022 conference about multilingual libraries have you implemented? Jana Nahodilova will guide the discussion.
