Polish School Eindhoven formally registers as a stichting

December 15, 2020

Many congratulations to the Polish School in Eindhoven for their recent accomplishment of becoming a formal stichting (foundation)!

The Polish School in Eindhoven is one of the first mother tongue schools that was started in Eindhoven. It was founded in 1988 and it has always functioned as an informal association. Because recently the school has been steadily growing, the current board has decided to register school as a foundation. Thus on November 18, 2020, the Stichting Poolse School Eindhoven was officially born! Polish School Eindhoven is a member of Forum of Polish Schools in the Netherlands and participates in the activities of Heritage Language Schools Eindhoven. It provides classes in Polish language and culture to children of Polish origin from Polish and mixed families. It also supports and educates parents about bilingual upbringing. Like most other mother tongue schools, the Polish school operates based on volunteer work of a wonderful team who devotes their free time and passion to creating a place where children can stay in touch with their heritage culture. Also whenever possible, parents are involved in different activities. The school is proud to have existed for 32 years, and they hope that transforming now into a foundation will make it possible for them to achieve even more.
