International collaboration
For years, HLE Network has been actively connecting with like-minded organizations in other countries for advice and to work on join projects, such as the FOHLC Europe annual conference and the International Guidelines for Professional Practices in Community-Based Heritage Language Schools. The Managing Director of HLE Network was invited to join the podcast It’s About Language to discuss what heritage language programs have in common worldwide and why there should be collaboration at the international level.
